Martin Raiser, country director for Turkey at the World Bank, said that Gezi protests' effect on the Turkish economy was limited. Speaking at a press conference, Raiser announced the World Bank's latest Regular Economic Brief for Turkey. Stating that a growth by 3.6 percent was forecast for Turkey by the World Bank in June and that their estimations remained the same, Raiser said that the existing data show no negative signals on the confidence in Turkey.
