Turks in Europe hold rally for Erdogan

Thousands of Turks living in European countries, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland, organized a rally on Sunday in Dusseldorf, Germany and demanded respect to democracy in Turkey and voiced their support for Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The rally which was organized by the Union of European Turkish democrats started with a short folk music concert. German police have taken extensive security measures to protect the demonstrators. The rally was also attended by Justice and Development Party (AKP) deputy leader responsible for foreign affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu and Culture and Tourism Minister Omer Celik.
