CHP's Koc: "Party delegates will favor renewal"

Delegates of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) will favor change and renewal at the party's general congress later this month, said a challenger to take the CHP helm yesterday. Speaking to delegates from a number of cities, Haluk Koc said that the CHP was facing a serious test in which it would leave the old way of doing things behind. He added that Turkey has no time to lose. The CHP congress is set for April 26-27.
