Gul receives officials from Turkish speaking countries

President Abdullah Gul yesterday received a group of culture ministers, including Culture and Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay, and heads of delegations from Turkish speaking countries visiting Ankara as part of the 24th meeting of the Permanent Council of Joint Administration of Turkic Culture and Art (TURKSOY). In related news, former Kazakh Culture Minister Dusen Kaseinov was elected the president of TURKSOY. A final declaration released by the council stated that they agreed to make efforts to boost cooperation among the Turkic states.
