19th World Congress on occupational health and safety at work starts in Istanbul

The 19th World Congress on Occupational Health and Safety at Work started yesterday in Istanbul, hosted by the Labor Ministry in cooperation with the International Labor Organization (ILO) and International Social Security Associations (ISSA). As part of the congress, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that employment intensive policies should be produced and employment should be improved in world economies. Stating that there are serious problems in many fields such as working hours, occupational health and occupational health, Erdogan said that finding a solution to these problems would write off the debt of humanity with positive impacts on world economies. He added that those who govern the economy should also harmonize the interests of both employers and employees with each other.
