46 PKK terrorists killed in Northern Iraq
46 Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists were killed in aerial attacks on Dec. 22 on a group's base in northern Iraq close to Turkey's southeastern province of Hakkari. According to recently revealed details of a cross-border ground operation that was also backed by air strikes, 46 out of a total of 68 terrorists who took shelter in the Kani Rash camp in northern Iraq, 10 kilometers away from the province of Hakkari along the Turkish-Iraqi border, were killed. The other 22 terrorists in the camp were reportedly able to escape from the operation. The entire camp was destroyed by Turkish military planes.
