73th Ertugrul Gazi commemoration ceremonies held

738th Ertugrul Gazi Commemorating ceremony and Sogut Festivities were held in Sogut, Bilecik over the weekend. Among those who attended the festivities were Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc, Culture Minister Ertugrul Gunay, Great Union Party (BBP) leader Yalcin Topcu, ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Deputy Chairman Sukru Ayalan, Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Chairman Metin Cobanoglu, and thousands of people. Touching on the nation’s unity, Arinc said that nobody dares try to make the Turkish nation quarrel. President Abdullah Gul, Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan also sent messages to the festivities.
