Europeans who have lost their jobs due to the world economic crisis are looking for jobs in Turkey's clothing, construction, energy, and tourism sectors. Since the crisis began some 50-100 CVs now arrive daily from Europe, up from 20-30 in years past, said HRM Consultancy's Aylin Coskunoglu Nazliaka. Most come from countries hardest hit by the crisis, such as Greece, Spain and Portugal. "The average age of the applicants is 25-38," she added. "Most Turkish companies require foreign applicants to speak Turkish, so some of the applications don't go anywhere."
