Anatolian Turkish Festival organized in Australia
The 2nd Annual Anatolian Turkish Festival was celebrated in Australia by the Bayram Turkish Cultural Association, Sydney-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and the State Planning Board. The festival which was organized at the Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour has attracted the attraction of many people from different nations. Ridvan Manav, chairman of the cultural association, said that they aimed to unite the Turkish society living in Australia on the sidelines of the unique values of Anatolia. Turkish Ambassador to Canberra Raha Keskintepe recalled that the year 2015 was proclaimed as the Year of Turkey in Australia. As part of the festival, traditional Turkish and Anatolian food, handicrafts and reminiscences of the Battle of Gallipoli have attracted great attention.
