Ankara discusses influx of Syrians

Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin, Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin, National Intelligence Organization (MİI) Undersecretary Hakan Fidan, officials from the Foreign Ministry and governors from provinces along the border of Syria convened yesterday under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay to discuss recent developments in Syria. During the meeting, measures aimed at responding to a massive influx in the number of Syrian refugees fleeing into Turkey and tightening security on the Syrian border were discussed. The decisions made at the meeting were be submitted to the Cabinet in the afternoon on Monday.
