Ankara pushes back on criticism from Libyan rebels

Ankara has taken action after rebels in Libya accused Turkey of acting unwillingly about the current NATO operation and attacked Turkey's consulate. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent Ambassador Omur Solendil to Benghazi as a special envoy, while Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met in Qatar with Mahmoud Jibril, a representatives of the rebels, and told of Turkey's uneasiness. In the contacts, Turkey gave the message that it is not taking sides in the Libyan conflict.
