Apartment buildings mostly inhabited by Turks set to fire in Bremen

Two apartment buildings which are predominantly inhabited by Turks were set to fire on Saturday in Bremen, Germany. There was no loss of life in the incident, but 30 people mostly consisting of the children were taken to hospital due to smoke poisoning. The Bremen Police Department reported that a suspect 22-year-old German was taken into custody at the scene of crime. Reportedly, material damage totaling approximately 100,000 Euros occurred as a result of the incident.  Interior Senator of Bremen Ulrich Maeurer came to the scene of crime for inspection purposes, wishing the injured a speedy recovery and expressing his sorrow over the incident.
