Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc yesterday criticized Russia and China for vetoing a UN Security Council resolution against Damascus. Speaking to a group of journalists yesterday, Arinc said that the UN Security Council's veto power has been used in a very unfair and inappropriate way. "The use of veto power by these two countries in the face of such massacre-like incidents which are witnessed by the entire world should not frustrate all of these efforts. Actually we are of the opinion that Syria is heading towards a sectarian tension and confusion."
