Upon a declaration by the Union of Communities in Kurdistan (KCK) on halting the pullout from Turkish territories, Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc has added a critical visit to his agenda to Northern Iraq on September 26-28. Arinc will reportedly engage in important bilateral talks with officials in Northern Iraq and pay a visit to the state-run Anadolu Agency office in Arbil. Arinc is also expected to hold official talks with Masoud Barzani, President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region and leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) during his visit. Focusing on the resolution process in his visit, Arinc will reportedly convey a message on the importance of continuation of the resolution process and standing against those who want to undermine this process.
