Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said on Monday that no one should think that there would be war after the Prime Ministry motion which was approved by Turkish Parliament last week that authorized the Turkish government to send troops abroad. Speaking to reporters following the cabinet meeting, Arinc said that Turkey was in favor of peace, and it was not thinking of war. "But we attach a special importance to our independence and sovereignty. Authorization was taken to use it if needed," Arinc said, adding that Turkey has been exerting efforts at the international platform for end of human tragedy in Syria.
