Babacan, Gunay and Yakis decorated with Belgian order od Leopold II

Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, Culture and Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay and former Foreign Minister Yasar Yakis were decorated with the Belgian Order of Leopold II by Prince Philippe of Belgium in a ceremony held in Ankara. Speaking at the ceremony, Belgian Ambassador to Ankara Pol de Witte said that Turkey's economy could have survived grave crises in a strong and successful way under the guidance of Babacan, adding that that tourism in Turkey has made great progress throughout Gunay's term of office. Reiterating that Yakis has been firstly appointed to Antwerp, Belgium as a diplomat, Witte said that they respect Yakis' independent thoughts and wise analysis.
