Babacan to hold contacts in Hong Kong and Singapore

Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan heads to South Asia today to hold contacts with his counterparts in Hong Kong and Singapore. Babacan will first visit Hong Kong, where he will meet with Hong Kong Financial Secretary John Tsang, Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Executive Director Fred Lam and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Chairman Ronald Arculli. Babacan will on March 8 travel to Singapore, where he will meet with President Tony Tan Keng Yam, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Deputy Prime Minister Taharman Shanmugaratnam, Foreign Minister K. Shanmugam and Trade and Industry Minister Lim Hng Kiang. Babacan and the accompanying delegation will return to Turkey on March 10.
