Bagis: "Greek Cypriot acts provocatively"

Greek Cyprus' launching of natural gas exploration activities in the eastern Mediterranean amid a period of intense reunification talks on the island is a provocation, Turkish EU Minister Egemen Bagiş has said."It's as if the [natural] gas is going to fly away; somebody has acted in a hurry," Bagiş said following a meeting with northern Cyprus leader Dervis Eroglu in Nicosia yesterday. European Union member states should take note of Greek Cyprus' actions, Bagiş said, adding that he would mention the issue to the members of European Commission and Parliament when he arrives in Strasbourg on Wednesday.
