Bagis receives Portuguese Ambassador to Ankara

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis yesterday received Portuguese Ambassador to Ankara Luisa Bastos de Almeida who was appointed as chief advisor to Portugal's President. As part of Ambassador Almeida's visit, Bagis said that Turkey now has a friend who knows Turkey's sensitivities very well and who would act like an ambassador to Turkey at the Portuguese Presidential Palace. Ambassador Almeida who paid a farewell visit to Bagis said that she has been quite happy to have worked in Turkey and that from now on Turkey could consider that it has two ambassadors in Portugal.
