Barzani urges PKK to lay down its arms

Speaking at a conference in Iraq's northern province of Arbil, President of the Kurdish Regional Administration Massoud Barzani has urged the terrorist PKK to lay down its arms and start civil dialogue. "If the PKK shows good faith, stops the war and does politics aimed at building peace, they can participate in the Kurdish National Conference, in which Kurds will tell the world that they build their policies based on dialog and diplomacy," Barzani said. Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) leader Selahattin Demirtas who also attended the conference said that the conference which was vitally important should be organized as soon as possible.
