BBC poll: Turks rate Germany as most positivelly viewed nation

According to an annual poll conducted by the BBC World Service, Germany is regarded most positively among 16 nations by Turks. As part of the poll, a total of 26,299 people were surveyed internationally between December 2012 and April 2013 and participants were asked to rate 16 countries, namely, China, India, the UK, Japan, the US, Germany, Canada, France, Brazil, Pakistan, Israel, Iran, South Korea, North Korea, Russia and South Africa, on whether their influence in the world was "mainly positive" or "mainly negative." Among Turks participating in the poll, the results indicate that Germany is the nation viewed most positively, followed by Japan. On the contrary, Israel was rated most often as having a negative influence by Turks.
