Boyner welcomes new incentive package

Turkey's Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) Chairperson Umit Boyner said that they attach considerably importance to the government's new incentive package, which has caused new expectations in terms of  rebalancing Turkey's economy and establish basis for a solution to structural problems. Speaking at a conference entitled "Developments in Foreign Politics and Economic Outlook" which was organized by Kayseri Chamber of Industry, Boyner said, "We expect the announced package to contribute to regional development, encourage scale economy and strengthen innovation capacity without contradicting competitive elements." Touching upon economic developments in Turkey and worldwide, Boyner also said that products with technologic and high added value should be produced, rather than remaining limited to the products involved in the product range of many countries, in order to be able to leap forward in a competitive atmosphere.
