Bozdag attends opening ceremonies in Pakistan

Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag attended an inauguration ceremony of the rapid bus lane system of the Pakistani city of Lahore which was prepared by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and part of the lane was constructed by Albayrak Holding, a Turkish contractor.  Speaking at the opening ceremony, Bozdag praised the projects conducted by the Turkish businesspeople in Pakistan. Describing the rapid bus lane system in Lahore as a successful example of the cooperation between Turkey and Pakistan, Bozdag said that now the two countries could enjoy the possibilities which have been created to make greater investments. Bozdag also touched on the greatness of love and solidarity between the people of the two countries, saying that cooperation should be boosted in all fields. Chief Minister of Punjab State in Pakistan Shahbaz Sherif who has also attended the ceremony thanked Bozdag and the Turkish businesspeople for providing Lahore with such a modern project. Afterwards, Bozdag attended the opening ceremony of a children's hospital which was repaired by Turkish International Cooperation Agency (TIKA).
