British tourist flood in Mugla

British tourists have flooded in Mugla this summer, one of the most popular vacation spots in Turkey. With a rise after the Ramadan Feast, it has been detected that 1,672,566 tourists have visited Mugla in the first 8 months of 2013 of which 699,252 from Britain, hence ranking first, 129,452 from Russian Federation, 103,158 from Germany, 76,129 from France and 66,023 from Belgium. "Despite the financial crisis in Europe, the majority of tourists visiting Mugla are from England" said Kamil Ozer, Director of Mugla Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate. It has also been reported that there is no fall in Arabic tourists coming to Mugla in spite of the turmoil experienced in the region.
