BTC brings $12 billion, says Yildiz

Noting that the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) crude oil pipeline had transported 1.8 billion barrels in trade volume to date, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz said, "The Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) has a share of 6.5 percent in the BTC and it gained an income of $12 billion from the BTC crude oil pipeline." Touching upon the the safety of the BTC, Yildiz noted that 10 percent of the world's oil trade flows along the Suez Canal.
