Bulgarian Foreign Minister to visit Turkey
Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov is expected to pay a visit to Turkey at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart on Wednesday to discuss bilateral and regional affairs. A statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Monday said Mladenov will discuss all aspects of bilateral relations along with regional and international affairs with Turkish officials during the visit. The Bulgarian minister is also expected to have talks with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and EU minister and Turkey's chief EU negotiator Egemen Bagiş. “The visit of neighbor, friend and ally Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Mr. Mladenov to Turkey will further contribute to the development of currently strong and multi-dimensional Turkish-Bulgarian relations,” the statement said.
