Bulgarian voters in Turkey vote for presidential elections

While voters in Bulgaria voted in presidential and local authority representative elections, ballot boxes were arranged in a total of 23 settlements in Turkey for Bulgarian citizens living in Turkey. The Bulgarian citizens living outside Bulgaria are able to vote only for presidential elections. The voting was carried out under the control of eight officials appointed by the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry. The Bulgarian citizens living in Turkey showed further interest in elections, as a Turk has become a presidential candidate for the first time in Bulgarian history.
