Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan, who is currently in Warsaw, had a meeting with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Waldemar Pawlak and attended the Turkish-Polish Business Forum on Wednesday. "The two countries have $776 billion of foreign trade volume and $1.3 trillion of national income. When we look at foreign trade figures and national incomes of the two countries, we should increase trade volume to $15.3 billion or $25.3 billion," Caglayan said, adding that Hattat Holding signed a protocol with Poland to export tractors worth 350 million Euros. For his part, Pawlak said that they have solved visa issues of Turkish businessmen to a great extent, and Poland regarded Turkey as a very important partner. Stating that there was a great cooperation between companies of the two countries, Pawlak also said that the cooperation between Turkish Airlines (THY) and Polish Airlines was a good example.
