Azerbaijan's sensitivities are also Ankara's, and so without a solution on Nagorno-Karabakh, there can be no trade ties between Turkey and Armenia, said State Minister for Foreign Trade Zafer Caglayan yesterday, visiting Azerbaijan's Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan with a business delegation. Speaking at the Sadarak border checkpoint at the crossroads of Turkey, Armenia, and Nakhchivan, Caglayan said that over the next few years they hope to boost trade between Turkey and Azerbaijan from $2 billion to $5 billion. Meeting later with Nakhchivan Parliament Speaker Vasif Talibov, Caglayan said he would call on Turkish businessmen to invest there. "We have to do something to increase our trade with Nakhchivan," he added. "We're here to support the development of Nakhchivan."
