Clipper stad Amsterdam organizes events in Istanbul

A sailboat, "Clipper Stad Amsterdam" came to Istanbul on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and Turkey to host many events aimed at furthering bilateral ties between Turkey and Holland. Speaking at an event organized on the sailboat, Commissioner for Foreign Investments at Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency Bas Pulles said that investments made by Turkey in European countries have reached $17 billion in the last decade, and that $4.7 million out of this number have been made in the Netherlands.  Speaking for his part, Amsterdam Mayor Eberhard van der Laan said that they attached great importance to Turkey along with other countries such as Brazil, China, Vietnam and India which enjoy a rapidly growing economy.
