CNN International spotlights Turkey

CNN International's "i-List" yesterday began a weeklong series spotlighting Turkey's economic, social and cultural attractions. In the series, anchor Zain Verjee and correspondent Mohammed Jamjoom are doing stories and interviews with top political, business, sports and music figures in Istanbul. The program will focus on key industries in Turkey, including textiles and clothing, construction, and automobiles. It will cover Istanbul's Grand Bazaar and Konya in central Anatolia as well Gaziantep in the southeast. Each month i-List visits a different country and looks to the future, highlighting innovation and influence in business, industry, culture and more.
