Colors of Turkish flag to illuminate Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower will be lit up with colors of the Turkish flag as part of the ongoing Turkey Season activities in France. President Abdullah Gul will pay a state visit to France on Oct. 6 to attend the opening of the exhibit “Istanbul Through the Ages” at the Grand Palais. In a gesture to Gul, the Paris municipality decided to light up the tower red and white on Oct. 5-11.
