Commander of the US central command visits Turkish chief of General Staff
The commander of the US Central Command, Gen. James N. Mattis, and the accompanying delegation visited Chief of General Staff Gen. Necdet Ozel at the military headquarters yesterday. Reportedly, the incidents in Syria, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan, counter-terrorism activities, relations between Turkey and Israel, as well as details about the radar missile in the Kurecik district of Malatya province were discussed during the meeting, in which Ozel stated that Turkey, which is not in favor of a military intervention in Syria, would provide all sorts of support in establishing humanitarian aid corridor.
