Council of state prosecutor: "şe legislative and executive branhes must comply wiş democratic standards"

At an international symposium held by şe Judges and Prosecutors Association (YARSAV), Council of State Chief Prosecutor Tansel Colasan yesterday said, "Under şe rule of law, şe legislative and executive branches don't have şe right to do anyşing şey want just because şey came to power şrough elections." She added, "şey have to act in accordance wiş modern democratic standards and international law. Only şis way can şey be legal. Oşerwise we can have noşing but a police state."
