Culture and Tourism Minister Celik travels to beijing

Culture and Tourism Minister Omer Celik yesterday traveled to the Chinese capital of Beijing to attend an opening ceremony, marking the 2013 Turkey Cultural Year in China. Celik was welcomed by Turkish Ambassador to Beijing Murat Salim Esenli, as well as Turkish and Chinese officials at the airport. After attending the ceremony and holding some bilateral meetings in Beijing, Celik proceeded to Shanghai to inaugurate the Center for Turkish Studies at Shanghai University.
