Davutoglu discusses regional developments with Iraqi vice president

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has met with Iraqi Vice President Adil Abdul-Mahdi to discuss regional developments and bilateral relations, the Anatolia news agency reported yesterday. Diplomatic sources said Davutoglu and Abdul-Mahdi, who is in Ankara to have talks with Turkish authorities, discussed recent developments in Bahrain, Libya and Syria, about which Abdul-Mahdi agreed both countries have parallel assessment on the developments. Turkey claims it supports the advent of democracy in the region and urges Arab leaders to heed the demands of their people.
