Davutoglu holds phone conversations with Ashton, Westerwelle

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held a phone conversation with EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy  Catherine Ashton. During the conversation, Ashton condemned the Syrian attack on Turkey resulting in the killing of five Turkish  people in Turkey’s southeastern town of Akcakale. Ashton also expressed hope that the ongoing bloodshed in Syria would stop.  Davutoglu held another phone conversation with German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle. Similarly, Westerwelle sent his  sympathies for the victims of the Syrian attack on Turkey, condemned Syria and defined the incident as "grave."
