Davutoglu in New York to attend UN voting

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu yesterday traveled to New York to participate in a voting to be held with regard to recognizing a Palestinian state at the UN General Assembly. Prior to voting, Davutoglu held a series of meetings to ensure that Palestine gets as much votes as possible, and met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Many countries, including Britain, Russia, China, France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Brazil and India support Palestine as well.
