Davutoglu, Libyan deputy FM discuss ways to achieve cease-fire

Meeting in Ankara yesterday, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Libyan Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulati Obeidi discussed ways to achieve a real cease-fire in the country. They met as part of Turkey's efforts to hold talks with all the parties in Libya. During the gathering, the two discussed steps needed to establish a real and lasting cease-fire and to put forth the parameters for a political solution, sources said. Later in the day, Davutoglu also hosted a dinner in honor of visiting Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri at his residence in Ankara. Regional matters and the latest recent developments in Lebanon were discussed, officials said.
