Davutoglu meets with Kerry in New York

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with US Secretary of State John Kerry in New York on Monday, where Davutoglu will hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of UN General Assembly. The civil war in Syria was the top agenda at the meeting where Kerry reportedly briefed Davutoglu about the draft resolution concerning the removal of chemical weapons from Syria. Davutoglu also met with the Greek Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos. During the meeting, Turkey and Greece agreed on the reciprocal visit of representatives from Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Greek Cypriot administration to both countries over the solution in Cyprus.
