A five-member Armenian group, including business and nongovernmental leaders, met yesterday with Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Foreign Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioglu to discuss the currently stalled Turkish-Armenian normalization process. "I believe relations between our two countries will improve soon, so you could come back to Erzurum and even buy a house there if you want," Davutoglu told the group. Davutoglu said Ankara tries to reach out to all Armenians who used to live in Turkey but now live abroad, saying he sees them as Turkey's diaspora. Davutoglu also said he prioritizes the ideas of citizenship and common history.
