Davutoglu receives Macedonia friendship award

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu attended a meeting of Macedonian Diaspora in Chicago, and was presented with the "Macedonian Friendship Award." Speaking at the award ceremony which was also attended by Macedonian President Georgi Ivanov and Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki, Davutoglu said that Turkey would continue to recognize Macedonia with its constitutional name. "Turkish representations, particularly those in the United States, are always ready to help Macedonians living outside their countries," Davutoglu added.
