Davutoglu to travel to US with regard to new predator

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will have talks with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during a work visit to Washington on February 8-13. Recent developments in the region, initiatives from the Arab League and United Nations Security Council with regard to Syria, political tension in Iraq and the US sanctions against Iran are expected to be high on the talk agenda. Davutoglu will also seek to ensure that the Congress does not take up any move on the Armenian genocide allegations issue ahead of April 24. Davutoglu also will have talks with Congress members with regard to predators to be delivered to Turkey which are considered quite crucial as part of anti-PKK operations.
