Dutch people acclaim documentary film on a succesful Turkish girl
A full-length documentary film depicting the life of 22-year-old Karsu Donmez, who has received high acclaim in the Netherlands and international arena at a young age for her musical talent, was released. The documentary film, which has been shot by the well-known Dutch director Mercedes Stalenhoef and released in many cities in the Netherlands at approximately 15 movie theaters, attracted the attention of art lovers and Dutch media as well. The filming process took five years for the documentary, which details Donmez's life spanning from her start in music at age seven on a piano purchased by her father to the time she began playing and waitressing at her father's restaurant at age 16. The film will be released in Turkey in June.
