Erdogan and Putin exchange opinions on the phone
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday phoned his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and exchanged opinions for approximately 35 minutes about bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as latest developments in Syria. Reportedly, Erdogan said to Putin that it would be useful to hold consultations in the upcoming period as well. Erdogan also stressed the importance of Russia’s policy on Syria in terms of the future of people living in that country. In response him, Putin said he agreed with him, adding that a possible intervention to Syria would further deepen the problems.
