Erdogan receives Izetbegovic

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday received Bakir Izetbegovic, the son of Bosnia's war-time president, Alija Izetbegovic in his house in Istanbul's Uskudar district.  EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis was also present at the meeting, which was closed to press. The Prime Ministry's Office yesterday released the first photograph taken of Erdogan after his second surgery that took place last week. Furthermore, Erdogan received phone calls from British Prime Minister David Cameron, Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal Ganzouri, Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and Hamas leader Khaled Meshal who have expressed their get well soon wishes to him.
