Erdogan responds positively to Merkel's offer

Speaking in his Justice and Development Party's (AKP) meeting in Kizilcahamam town of Ankara on Saturday, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that German Chancellor Angela Merkel offered him to establish joint management for Germany's national air carrier Lufthansa and Turkey's national air carrier Turkish Airlines (THY) during a recent trip to Germany.  "I have responded positively to Merkel's offer. We hope that the THY and Lufthansa can take such a step," Erdogan said.
