Erdogan sends video message to Dusseldorf
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a video message to a rally called "Respect for Democracy" which was organized by the Union of European Turkish Democrats (UETD) in Dusseldorf, Germany on Sunday, and attracted approximately 50,000 people from various parts of Germany and Europe. Touching on Taksim Gezi incidents, Erdogan said that those who can't stand the results from ballot boxes believed that they could yield results by invasion of streets and vandalism. "But don't worry. Now Turkey has changed. As soon as you protect it, nobody will be able to damage democracy," Erdogan said. In his message, Erdogan also talked about the situation in Egypt, saying, "We don't respect those who do not respect the people's will, because we paid the price a lot. We don't want our Egyptian brothers to pay the same price." Erdogan also expressed limitless and endless love for Egypt.
