In an address at a meeting of the Turkish Red Crescent (Kizilay) in Ankara, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he was planning to pay a visit in Gaza following his official trip to the US on May 16. In his speech, Erdogan also said that being a strong state in the 21st century required making contributions to the world peace, as well as to education, culture, solidarity and sharing. "Besides, your capacity of interfering in and correcting the inequalities, unfair treatments and injustices in the world are also considered as the criteria for becoming a strong state," Erdogan said, adding that Turkey has gained ground to a great extent with regard to the issue in the last decade.
