Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has paid visits to 22 countries as part of the government's official schedule during 2012, traveling an equivalent of 165,120 kilometers and thus four times around the world in 2012. The lengthiest trip Erdogan took was his journey to the Mexican city of Los Cabos to attend a G20 meeting, which alone totaled nearly 12,000 kilometers. He also visited South Korea, China, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, Brunei, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Ukraine, Slovenia, Germany, Spain, Italy, Britain, Bulgaria, Qatar, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Kazakhstan and Iran over the past year.
